Pioneer Family Pools is looking for a personable and professional Spa Service Technician to join our existing team! You would be responsible for servicing spas based on what our clients need which includes but is not limited to diagnosing issues, completing leak tracks and repairs, plumbing, installing equipment, cleaning, maintenance, etc. You would be responsible to get yourself to and from work (located out of Burlington) however a company truck and tools will be provided so that you are able to perform required tasks and duties.
This is a full-time position, where you will be provided with extensive training regarding in-field duties, procedures, and equipment knowledge. Previous experience in the construction/landscape and/or pool/spa industry is an asset, however we are willing to train any employee who joins our team.
Our teams work 5 days a week during peak periods, and some weekends as needed. We aim to provide 8-hours’ worth of work, however due to the nature of the spa service industry, some shifts may be longer or shorter than 8-hours. This provides an opportunity for employees to earn more $$ during the week, when/if possible. The expected start date for this position is flexible/to be determined.

Job Responsibilities:
· Handle a high volume of field service work daily (service work such as diagnostics, troubleshooting, leak tracks, plumbing repairs, equipment installation, cleaning, etc.)
· Repair or replacement of spa equipment such as pumps, heaters, sensors, and related components
· Troubleshooting client concerns and issues
· Speak with customers in a courteous and professional manner when at their home
· Proper report and explanation of what is required at a job and why
· Recommend equipment and services based on customer needs and wants
· Provide exceptional customer service
· All other duties and responsibilities assigned
Requirements:
· High School Diploma or Equivalent
· Valid G Class Driver’s License
· Previous work experience with plumbing, pools and/or spas would be an asset
· Willing and able to work outdoors in various weather temperatures
· Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
· Team player
· Hard worker
· Excellent communication skills and the ability to think quickly/on the spot
· Ability to remain flexible to unanticipated issues
Full-time hours:Â 40+ per week
Pay:Â Starting at $20.00
Experience:Â Previous construction/landscape or spa/pool industry experience is an asset
Education:Â Secondary School (Preferred)
