Renovation/Restoration/Rebuild – Commercial Pools all types and sizes

About Project

The renovation project was in a condominium residence at Yonge & Sheppard in Toronto, Ontario. The existing marbelite coating was completely removed, as well as the quarter wedding cake staircase. A new staircase was formed and poured, with new custom stainless steel railings. The pool shell had areas where rust was showing through the marbelite previously, so in those areas the concrete was chipped away to expose the rusting rebar. The rebar was sandblasted and inspected, and where necessary sections were removed and new sections were lapped and welded to the existing bar that was satisfactory. While the pool floor was being demolished, the drains were also replaced. Not seen in this photo is the prefabricated commercial hot tub that was removed after 20 years of use and replaced with a brand new unit. The pool received a skim coat, waterproofing, new waterline tile and marbelite, while the deck and walls received a full new tile finish. Both the pool and spa received a full new mechanical system as part of the renovation project.
