ALEXANDER BUDREVICS

Alexander Budrevics developed his love for the landscape through his education in Germany and England before immigrating to Canada in 1952.  As founder of Alexander Budrevics + Associates Limited, Landscape Architects, in 1964, Mr. Budrevics became recognized as an authority in landscape architecture and designer of over three thousand landscape development projects.   He grew professionally to be considered an international authority on swimming pool design and was a frequent speaker and contributor to swimming pool design magazines and local media.  Mr. Budrevics was elected to the Canadian Society of Landscape Architects (CSLA) College of Fellows in 1975.  A founding member of the Ontario Swimming Pool Association in 1958, Mr. Budrevics was elected as its president in 1964.  He then served as president of the American Institute of Landscape Architects from 1969 -1971 and President of the Ontario Association of Landscape Architects (OALA) from 1977-1979, and was granted OALA Emeritus Membership in 1993.  Beginning in 1958 Budrevics was the Landscape Architect/Consultant to the National Home Show in Toronto for over 50 years. He provided his consulting services to the Garden Festival, the Canadian Garden Pool and Landscape Show, as well as the original Canadian Pool and Patio Show.
