Mr. David Huxtable received a Bachelor of Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University in 1982. Upon graduation he began his career with Mursatt Chemicals Limited, and became President/Owner of the company in 1999. Mr. Huxtable earned a solid reputation as an expert in water chemistry and purification, and was the driving force behind the Best Management Practices for Pool Water Discharge certification program. He is a former President of the Pool & Hot Tub Council of Canada. During his tenure, Mr. Huxtable helped to negotiate a compromise solution on the issue of pool discharge requirements with the City of Toronto.
The Industry Achievement Award was bestowed upon Mr. Huxtable in 2009.
